Tonda Hill, a lifelong Democrat and a resident of Douglas County, has devoted her entire career to public service due to her upbringing. Tonda’s mother grew up in foster care, yet in spite of these challenging circumstances, she instilled in Tonda the importance of hard work, education, and advocating for the most vulnerable because but for grace, circumstances could have been different. Tonda’s father, who lost his mobility at the age of 50, serves as an inspiration for overcoming obstacles. As a result, Tonda’s unique qualifications extend beyond legal expertise, encompassing valuable personal experiences and perspectives.
